The World Jersey Cattle Bureau heads to Australia to conduct its 2013 Annual General Meeting schedule. More details here
It is with great sadness that I have to inform Jersey cattle breeders throughout the world of the passing of the Patron of the World Jersey Cattle Bureau, Mrs Anne Perchard on Monday, April 1st, 2013.
Anne's involvement with the World Jersey Cattle Bureau started in 1982 at the international conference held in Canada; she was elected Chairman of the Bureau and served as its President from 1992 to 2002 when she was appointed as its Patron. Anne's lifelong interest in the Jersey breed together with her support and friendship for its breeders around the world was well recognised. She died peacefully at home surrounded by her family.
A full obituary will be published shortly, but in the meantime I am sure the many friends she has around the world will wish to join with me in sending our condolences to her family at this time.
