From humble beginnings, lines of heifers were purchased from prominent Studs of the time, and have been mated with particular attention being paid not only to production but also to udder traits and overall type, and now several generations down the track, “the dream” is being realised. The current herd consists of -
3 Excellent, 4 Superior, 21 VHC, 77 HC+, 19 HC, cows.
Sires with numerous daughters include, Hermitage, Lester, Berretta, Mister T, Barber, Trader, Lester Sambo, Storm, Montana, Fanclub and Tidy.
Production for 2001-2002. 169 cows averaged 5371 Litres. 3.6 % 195 Ptn. 4.9% 263 BF. ( approximately .75 ton grain feed per head. Cows are wintered and young stock reared on nearby out block. ) Calving will commence August with calves expected by, Berretta, Mister T, Barber, Quest Angel, Freedom, Finale, Barber Bill, Gatekeeper, Montana and Councillor.

Her "Patch" Dam has topped the herd, the Belle Family descending from Carola. Mister T, perhaps the most under rated Jersey Sire, has left a uniform line of high producing daughters at Jimann, with an average classification of 88.3 points, 5597 lts. 259 kg BF 203 kg Ptn.( 10 lactations 2000-2001 ) The 10, Mister T heifers introduced into the herd this current season have an av PI of 104 and show the most potential of any heifers we have ever milked.

A lovely young cow with size, stretch and a typical Lester Sambo udder. From a family descendant from Oxley, the Starlights are quickly establishing themselves as one of our best. A favourite within the herd, a no nonsense cow who is a pleasure to milk and has given us our greatest thrill in 39 years of breeding. A lovely framed dairy cow with a tremendously high and wide rear udder. Descending from the line of heifers purchased at Merriwa Park, is a member of the strong Misty Morn Family developed at Jimann.
